“Palestinian Family in Pictures” Photography Competition

{jcomments on}Palestinian heritage photography competition

With the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, a national project has been launched  to preserve the roots of the Palestinian family and its identity.

It is an international competition in photography, entitled: “Palestinian family in pictures,” aiming at using photography to document the presence of the Palestinian family in Palestine and the Diaspora, to strengthen their identity and the right to return to their homes that were occupied for 63 years.

The images participating in the competition should be about a Palestinian family in which a large number of family members can be photographed together, or a picture of the senior generation, the witnesses of the Nakba, or an image that combines different generations such as grandfather and grandchild, or a picture of Palestinian family heritage attire.

The competition prizes are a total of three thousand U.S. dollars (3000 $) in addition to certificates of appreciation and shields. The details and conditions of participation have been published on: www.howiyya.com
