Short film competition launched for Egyptian Christians: “Dialogue Without Walls.”
The Egyptian Catholic Center for Cinema, in collaboration with the Evangelical Synod of the Nile and SAT-7 channel, are organizing a short film competition titled “Dialogue Without Walls.” The competition is for films on topics related to openness in dialogue and communication between people in Egyptian society at all levels.
Documentaries and narrative films must be no longer than 20 minutes and not be previously broadcast on TV or a website. Films must be produced after Jan. 1, 2013.
Three prizes will be awarded: first prize EGP10,000; second prize EGP5,000; and third prize EGP3,000. Entries must include three copies of the film on DVD in addition to the required information.
The deadline is Feb. 15.
