13 Thousand UAE Businesswomen own 20 thousand companies

Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Emirates Businesswomen Council
said that the number of Emirate business women has reached 13 thousand woman, who
are the owners of 20 thousand companies.

She announced this
statement during a Forum held in UAE about the private sector’s contributions
in development,
organized by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in UAE.
Al Jaber added ‘The
Ministry of Commerce and the Federation of UAE Chambers encourage women
entrepreneurs and provide them with the environment and facilities that help
them to achieve their goals and reach the success they are aspiring to achieve in
their businesses.
