A teacher of Quran lashes a five year old child in Saudi Arabia

A 5 year old Saudi child lashed by his teacher

A five year old child
was brutally beaten and lashed mercilessly by his Quran reciting teacher at Almabidh area in Mecca.

It seems the flogging, lashing and other similar physical punishments executed in public
by the Saudi authorities has encouraged individuals to follow suit.

Turki al Suwaihri , a Saudi journalist, said the spokesman for the Police,
Abdulmohsen Al Maiman, said the boy’s father filed a complaint at the police
station of Almabidh, while the child was transferred to hospital and underwent
clinical examination, which confirmed the child was beaten and needs five days to
recover.

The police are still looking for the Quran teacher to investigate the incident.
