Children’s Television Channels Cartoons

Saudi caricaturist Rabeea is highlighting the lack of regulations in Arabic broadcasting, especially when it comes to Children’s Television Channels.

In this cartoon he is showing three little children horrified by what they have seen on the screen of a television set marked by the words “Children’s Channel”.

Some animation created as science fiction is even one of the worst forms of entertainment, where children know nothing yet about science, physics, biology or chemistry. Yet they are introduced to the most confusing images that contribute to nightmares and disrupting the children’s sleep pattern. But clearly in this cartoon it shows the children sweating, red faced with embarrassment and two hearts coming out of the screen which implies adult scenes that children should not have watched.
