on   21 Jun 2011 – 18:00 – 21:00 at  BFI, NFT3, Southbank, London SE1 8XT this screening which has been organised as part of Refugee Week.

This highly acclaimed road movie set against an epic landscape of post invasion Iraq in 2003, follows a young boy Ahmed and his grandmother as they travel dusty, battered roads in search of a missing father/son. From ravaged desert plains to the mountains of Kurdistan, the travellers meet fellow migrants caught up in the terrible fate of a region and peoples, wrought by tyranny and war.
