Fellowship Opportunities from the Arab Council for the Social Sciences

The Arab Council for the Social Sciences (ACSS) is pleased to announce the second round of its New Paradigms Factory (NPF) competition. The theme of this cycle is “Nationalism and Patriotism” in the Arab region.

NPF aims to identify and facilitate writing and publishing by Arab activist-scholars as well as junior academics currently residing in the Arab region. Up to nine fellows will receive intensive mentoring as well as translation, editing and publication support in the period between March 2014 and March 2015 in order to complete and publish a piece of writing on the theme of this year’s cycle. The deadline for application is 9 March 2014.
