Cancer Help for Minority Ethnic Communities (CHEC) in Bristol and South Gloucestershire
Cancer Help for Minority Ethnic Communities (CHEC) is an NHS commissioned service covering South Gloucestershire and Bristol Primary Care Trust areas. The CHEC service offers individual support and information to Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) people affected by cancer at any stage of the illness.

CHEC works in partnership with other services in an effort to ensure that BME people living with cancer receive culturally appropriate care and that cancer and related support services are delivered in a way that is accessible to all and reduces some of the existing inequalities.
