A Documentary Journalism Fund for filmmakers around the world
The Britdoc Foundation have announced their new Bertha BRITDOC Documentary Journalism Fund for filmmakers around the world. £250,000 a year for 3 years is available to filmmakers as a mixture of grants and investments.
The fund is open to documentary filmmakers who are working at the intersection of film and investigative journalism. The fund is looking for projects that are breaking important contemporary stories, exposing injustice, and bringing attention to unreported issues and cameras into regions previously unseen.
Grants from £5,000 to £50,000 are available on a rolling basis for films 60 mins+ in length.
