Men earn money women only spend it

AlJubairy is a Saudi cartoonist. This caricature shows the man worried about his wife’s spending and bad judgement, since her choice of dress will mean the family will be left with no money for the rest of the month.

It seems that the cartoonist is accusing Saudi women of naievity and lack of sympathy towards their hardworking husbands.

Is this cartoon a sexist work of art or a reality that has to be dealt with by criticizing women’s ‘ignorance and selfishness’
